It’s difficult to overstate the number of green dials we’ve already seen this year, but TAG Heuer have managed to find a new shade of the lush colour in this latest chronograph. The TAG Heuer Green Carrera Special Edition takes a strong design template in the vintage inspired Carrera case, which was use for both the Montreal and Silver 160 Years Editions in 2020 and brings it into 2021 with a subtle emerald dial.

Featuring a 39mm steel case, heritage chronograph pump-pusher and a comfortable leather strap with folding clasp, it’s an understandably popular design. The green dial is a lovely green-blue hue that plays with the light thanks to the sunburst finishing, contrasting against the three snailed subdials.

Powering the TAG Heuer Green Carrera Special Edition is the workhorse in-house Heuer 02 chronograph caliber, that boasts an impressive 80 hours of power reserve and a vertical clutch and column wheel (which is appropriately green too). It’s a good looking watch that is limited in numbers, so get moving if you want one of these on your wrist.
