Every Watch Tells a Story: “How long will it take you to namedrop Hugh Jackman?”

It was the end of last year at the Time+Tide Club party. Drinks were poured and Santa hats were circulated. Watches were admired and discussed. There were further drinks. Impressed by the horological range on display, Andrew suddenly decided we should shoot some video of different people discussing their watches and unpacking the personal stories behind them. That’s what this little video series is all about.

Rather than blend in with the Rolexes, Omegas and Jaeger-LeCoultres, Aaron decided to stay close to home, wearing a Bausele Oceanmoon IV. Founded in Sydney in 2011, the brand experienced heights such as being the only Aussie brand at Baselworld, before being chosen to create a watch marking the centenary of the RAAF in 2021. Of course, this also served as the perfect opportunity for some shameless self-promotion, as Aaron just happens to be Bausele’s CEO. Watch the video to find out whether Aaron resisted the urge to namedrop the mutton-chopped superhero.
