LVMH Watch Week has already hit the ground running. With dozens of releases scheduled, today we take a quick look at what TAG Heuer has bought to the table. A bit of history, some birthday celebrations and an evolving smartwatch selection. Let’s dig in.
Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph
When TAG Heuer released it’s first solar-powered watch last year, one wondered what the next chapter would hold for the technology. Almost a year later, we have our answer.
Here is the new Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph. TAG Heuer has followed up their initial offering with a more versatile, yet rugged design. All courtesy of the titanium, sand-blasted case. Add to that the more approachable 40mm sizing and you have a sport/casual watch that can easily go from a morning hike to sending emails at your desk.

Carrera 60th
One of the most popular chronographs of all time, the Carrera, turns 60 years old in 2023. To celebrate, TAG Heuer has given us a 600-piece, limited-edition Carrera Chronograph.
Last time we saw this design, it was in the red-dialled CBK221G.FC6479 released in 2022. However, for this iteration, we get the classic and highly legible panda dial. It’s an aesthetic that screams racing chronograph, and their golden era of the ’60s. With this marking the first time this 39mm version of the Carrera has received the panda treatment, I fully expect the allocation to be gone in a flash.

Connected Golf
“No distractions. Just golf.” For their next iteration of the Connected Golf Watch, TAG Heuer has evolved the design. Gone is the 45mm case that probably stood in the way of many buyers. Now we have a more reasonably sized 42. Furthermore, a solid bezel is now replaced with more screen real estate, meaning the decrease in size doesn’t come at the expense of a smaller screen.
But beyond the aesthetic changes, the best part about this new Golf Edition is the software. Now golfers can track a full round of golf without constantly interacting with the watch. It’s also able to track every shot with the option of allocating your shots to a specific club for even more analysis of your game. In short, TAG Heuer has made the ultimate golf companion.

Connected Sport
If there is one thing the Apple Watch Ultra taught us is that there exists among us a group of people who demand more of their smart watch. They want something that can take on the elements, helping them push their minds and bodies to the limit. It also taught us people are just fine with a 45mm watch packed full of features.
It’s this audience TAG Heuer is speaking to with the luxurious offering that is the Connected Sports Edition. Heart rate, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, NFC, microphone, barometer and an upcoming “trail and hiking” application provide all the tools you’d ever need. Add to that a better breathing perforated strap and the new Sport Edition should make quite a bit of noise with the adventurers among us.

Connected Titanium
Another connected watch that went on a diet now gets the black titanium treatment. With the new 42mm Connected Black titanium Edition, we get a more stealthy approach to the connected lineup.
If you consider the Golf and Sport edition as specialist pieces, this Black Titanium watch would be your all-arounder. It provides many of the features seen in the other models, with a more everyday aesthetic. All on a simple, black rubber strap.

Monza
The Monza. TAG Heuer’s cushion-cased storied design makes a comeback this year in a truly interesting design.
Named after the famed race track and home of the Italian Grand Prix, the Monza traditionally comes in a stainless-steel case. A few years ago, TAG Heuer even went DLC. But this year, we get a carbon case with an openworked dial. A red, white and blue motif exist throughout the watch, from the markers to the hands. Even the strap has contrast blue stitching.
Overall, it’s a unique and statement making design that pairs well with the technology driven, molded carbon fibre, F1 world of today.
