The Studio Underd0g Field is now available for pre-orders
Borna BošnjakFollowing the highly anticipated launch of the brand’s new design, the Studio Underd0g Field collection is finally available for pre-orders. Though they’re by no means your bog-standard, military issue field watch, the Pink Lem0nade, Steffany Blue, Full Mo0n and Midnight models bring a unique dial construction to the table, alongside plenty of lume.

To summarise our detailed introducing post, the new Field collection was inspired by a fictitious brief that the Ministry of Defence would have provided to Studio Underd0g, concerned with creating a new military field watch. Though they’re not quite the Dirty Dozen, their inception was certainly inspired by them.
The most curious aspect are certainly the dials, offering novelty in terms of their construction and luminescent intentions. First of all, they’re actually quite complex, taking on a pseudo-sandwich look. There’s a sapphire disc with the printed markings affixed atop a coloured base that is also lumed, giving it a floating effect. For those who are after something a bit more subtle, there’s the Midnight colourway. This makes use of a black base layer and regularly lumed hands and indices, but doesn’t skip the quirky dial screws.
The cases are all quite compact, measuring in 37mm in diameter, 12mm in height (including the 2.2mm domed sapphire), and 46mm lug-to-lug, so they should be no trouble on a wide array of wrist sizes.
Rather than the manually wound Seagull chronograph featured in the brand’s popular chrono series, the Fields are equipped with a Sellita SW210. It’s also manually wound, and provides a 42-hour power reserve.

The new Studio Underd0g Field collection is now open for pre-orders. Pre-orders will be available via Time+Tide in the Melbourne Discovery Studio only, with deliveries beginning in 2024. The watches will be displayed in the Studio in November, as a worldwide exclusive physical preview. Price: A$1,750
