Each week, we will recap some of the best watch releases of the previous seven days.  Whether novelties they’re novelties we have had the good fortune of going hands-on with, introduced, or even releases we have yet to cover in full on the site, we aim to recap the most exciting release highlights of the week. Seiko SJE093

  • The Seiko SJE093 is a faithful recreation of the 62MAS from 1965.
  • It can be seen as an updated version of the SLA017 from 2017 with a more accurate case size.
  • The 6L37 movement introduces Seiko’s new range of slimline calibers.

Hublot Big Bang Unico Azur

  • Hublot extend their “Hublot Loves Summer” campaign to the Hublot Big Bang Unico Azur
  • The blue and white ceramic case evokes a classic sailor’s outfit
  • Limited to 50 pieces, it’s only available at the Monaco and St Tropez boutiques

ArtyA AquaSaphir

  • This is the first aquatic watch with a case made of sapphire crystal
  • There is no metal in this case, and you can choose to have a transparent bezel or one with a watery cyan tint
  • You can get this watch with either a meteorite dial or an enamel gradient one that mimics the sea

Ulysse Nardin UFO Final Edition

 

  • An expert in marine chronometers, the UFO was first launched in 2021 as a futuristic tribute for UN’s 175th anniversary
  • Thanks to the six (SIX!) barrels the power reserve adds up to a whole year
  • This is planned to be the last production run and it’s available in three colours

TAG Heuer Carerra Skipper

  • Housed in the new Glassbox Carrera platform, the Skipper returns to the regular collection after 40 years
  • The colourful regatta timer counter is directly inspired by the Intrepid’s livery
  • It is powered by the chronograph calibre TH20-06 that is visible through the glass caseback

A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Time Zone & 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar

 

  • The 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar pairs three of the most complex complications with a salmon dial
  • It is a white-gold cased limited edition of 100 pieces.
  • The new boutique exclusive Worldtimer is a hefty exercise in “stealth wealth” monochrome with a platinum case and silver dial

Longines Flagship Heritage Moonphase

  • The 1950s inspired collection is expanded with two new moonphase timepieces
  • Designed in an elegant 38.5mm case, the mixed finishes give it a vintage charm
  • It has distinctive dome dials inspired by the 1957 model, but with the modern addition of SuperLuminova

Junghans Meister fein Chronoscope MEGA Solar

  • This new Bauhaus-inspired model is powered by a radio-controlled solar movement
  • Time zones are adjustable via the crown or the dedicated app
  • It is available in a stainless-steel case with a spherically cut sapphire crystal, either in a gold or silver tone

HYT Hastroid Blue Star

  • This new 20-piece limited edition has a magnesium case with an understated blue hue
  • Magnesium is 2.3 times lighter than titanium and extremely difficult to machine
  • The electric blue hues are continued on the dial with blued hands, bordered numerals, and time-telling ‘meca-fluid’

Hvilina L&MR

  • The conceptual design is inspired by the opening of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in the UK
  • The sides of the case represent the rail tracks seen from the front, adding on the industrial esthetic
  • It is available in two different colourways and there will be 200 pieces each
