As we predicted last week, the amount of releases these past seven days was massive. Geneva Watch Days is one of the key events in the watch world and it was definitely a blast. We introduced a ton of watches this week on the site, and there is still more to come! But, for now here are ten exciting debuts from this past week.

Octo Finissimo CarbonGold

  • The new CarbonGold variants go back to 1993, the first time Bulgari combined high-tech with traditional luxury.
  • Extremely light due to their full carbon construction, the models are highlighted in 18k rose gold.
  • Ultra-thin is the name of the game, with both the automatic and perpetual calendar movements measuring in under 3mm.

Alpina Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years

  • For Geneva Watch Days 2023, Alpina has released two regular -production tribute versions of the tank-style Alpiner.
  • The Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years offers vintage looks with modern appointments.
  • Two dial variants are available: two-tone silver (US and international), and black (international only).

Fredrique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture

  • The Frederique Constant Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture combines elegant style with mechanical wow factor.
  • It’s highly accessible in design, referencing classic mid-century styles.
  • The FC-735 is Frederique Constant’s 31st in-house movement, signalling their intent to continue driving their brand upmarket.

HYT Conical Tourbillon Infinity Sapphires

 

  • The HYT Conical Tourbillon Infinity Sapphires is a limited edition of 8 pieces.
  • Its tourbillon calibre, with a spiral balance inclined at 30 degrees, was developed with master watchmaker Eric Coudray.
  • Framing the tourbillon, distinctly coloured gems – fuchsia, blue-grey and yellow – rotate at different speeds around the dial.

Citizen Black Washi Paper Dial

  • The new Citizen Eco-Drive Black Washi Paper Dial is limited to 350 pieces.
  • It sports a 100m water-resistant Duratect Gold Super Titanium case that’s more than five times harder than standard steel.
  • Black washi paper dials are sprinkled with gold leaf through Sunago-maki – no two are the same.

Doxa SUB 300β Sharkhunter

  • The Doxa SUB 300β Sharkhunter explores a streetwear aesthetic in a high-tech package.
  • The case is made of ceramic with an 18k yellow gold bezel and crown.
  • The SUB 300 case has been slimmed down to 11.95mm, maintaining its 300m water resistance.

Maurice de Mauriac Rallymaster II

  • The Maurice de Mauriac Rallymaster II is the second in a series of tennis-inspired wristwatches with Racquet magazine.
  • Once again, the watch has been designed with Carlton DeWoody – a creative best-known for interior design.
  • Limited in production, the pre-sale window is open strictly during the US Open tournament from August 28 to September 10.

  • Philippines-based brand Argod presents a new GADA everyday watch in a compact 38mm case.
  • The textured dial, available either in cream or in blue, is brightened up by the red tip of the seconds hand, inspired by a compass needle.
  • With sapphire crystals both on the front and in the back, this timepiece offers great value at A$500.

Ulysse Nardin Blast Free Wheel Marquetery

  • Ulysses Nardin utilizes silicon marquetry to create a breathtaking dial that acts as a background for the floating movement.
  • The 18k white gold futuristic case bends the light thanks to the multiple facets finished in different ways.
  • The in-house, flying tourbillon movement is visible not only from the front but also from the site thanks to the complex sapphire crystal that covers it.
