In this week’s selection, we have a British watchmaker collaborating with a new spy film, a Swiss brand releasing a solid gold piece with an exceptional jade dial, and a French brand pairing diamonds and blue mother of pearl. We also continue to see some novelties celebrating the upcoming Lunar New Year, but the volume of LNY releases is slowing down somewhat – we will have our final say on our favourites in a couple of weeks when the Lunar New Year finally begins. Longines Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve

• Longines are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Conquest range with this retro revival.
• The Conquest Heritage Central Power Reserve is based on a rare model from 1959.
• The unique power reserve display is powered by the new Longines calibre L896.5.

Bremont Argylle Collection

• Bremont partners with filmmaker Matthew Vaughn and releases three timepieces inspired by the characters of the new Argylle movie, starring Henry Cavill.
• The diamond pattern on each of the three dials mimics the emblematic pattern used in the movie.
• Both the 43mm and 34mm variants sport the brand’s Trip-Tick case design, adapting it to a dual-crown version of the U2, a large GMT and a sporty everyday piece.

Nomos Orion Neomatik New Black

• Nomos releases a new colourway in the Orion Neomatik collection that makes it the perfect tuxedo watch.
• The matte black galvanised dial with gold details is something different from the colourful shades that Nomos has gone for recently.
• With case sizes ranging from 36.4 to 40.5mm, they all stay well under 10mm thick.

H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Wyoming Jade

• Moser pairs the integrated bracelet look of the Streamliner with a warm red gold case and bracelet.
• A very rare Wyoming jade dial frames the flying tourbillon at six o’clock, interrupted only by three indices at 12, 3 and 9.
• The untreated stone dial doesn’t have any branding or logos, with the natural imperfections of the jade giving each dial a unique look.

Audemars Piguet x Tamara Ralph Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon Limited Edition

• AP and Tamara Ralph join forces to release a special Royal Oak on the occasion of the stylist’s runway show in Paris.
• The frosted rose gold case, with a colour-matched strap, echoes the colours of some of the clothes in the Spring/Summer collection.
• The dial, with concentric circles in different shades of brown, features a diamond-encrusted flying tourbillon.

Hermès Arceau Petite Lune Ciel Étoilé

• The well-loved Hermès Arceau case gets a new mother-of-pearl dial decorated with seven brilliant-cut diamonds.
• The cloudy look of the blue is obtained by putting a textured mother of pearl over a blue lacquered base.
• The stainless steel case is embellished with 70 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and a rose-cut one on the crown.

Ralph Lauren New Year Polo Bear

• Ralph Lauren Introduces a new Polo Bear elegantly dressed to mark the advent of the Lunar New Year.
• The arched lugs of the 38mm stainless steel case support a black fabric strap that makes this fun watch even less formal.
• The opaline dial features a thick print of the famous Polo bear wearing black trousers and an elegant red smoking jacket while clutching red envelopes.

Roger Dubuis Excalibur Dragon

• Roger Dubuis releases a pink gold Excalibur timepiece to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
• The skeletonised dial leaves space for a brass dragon composed of 27 pieces, on 25 different levels.
• Available only as a limited edition of 28 pieces, it is sold on a quick-release calf-skin leather strap.

Bell & Ross BR03 Cyber Ceramic

• Bell & Ross presents a futuristic concept timepiece, inspired by the design of a stealth aircraft.
• The angular, black ceramic case frames a black-coated skeletonised dial with chrome details on wheels and barrel.
• It’s sold on a integrated rubber strap that complements the stealth look and it’s part of a limited edition of 500 pieces.

Maurice Lacroix Aikon PVD

• Maurice Lacroix introduces two variations of the 39mm Aikon model, in two PVD colours.
• The models are available either in blue or black and they are sold on a colour-matched rubber strap.
• These two releases are limited editions of 888 pieces each, a number symbolising good luck in Chinese numerology.
