Editor’s Note: Follower Reviews are amongst our favourite types of posts. It’s where Time+Tide takes a back seat and lets our readers tell actual stories about the watches they love and live on a daily basis. But honestly this one is something special. What sort of watch does one of the greatest industrial designers (with his own watch brand) wear? Well, read on…

NAME: Marc Newson

WATCH: Limited edition (of three pieces) Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea, Europe.

STORY: I designed this watch with my friend Jony Ive for Bono, who was doing a (RED) charity auction. The Memovox already exists of course, we just added the red. There are three in existence. It was listed at $10-15,000 but it sold for $300,000 or something. (It sold for $365,000 USD)
