Pietro Pilla

It was a great week for high-end chronographs, with both Parmigiani Fleurier and MB&F releasing two very different examples of artisanal watchmaking, but sharing a similar colour palette. We were also treated to an unexpected, Genta-designed reissue from Credor, an ultra-light RM for Rafa, and a celebratory Voutilainen tourbillon. There’s also a surprising, last-minute addition from Audemars Piguet that relaunches an asymmetrical classic. Discover them all below and enjoy your reading!

  • The six screws on the bezel are now functional, and the case and bracelet are made of titanium with different finishings.

Audemars Piguet [Re]Master 02

Audemars Piguet [RE]Master 02

  • Audemars Piguet launches the second chapter of the [Re]Master collection four years after its first introduction to the world, with a model inspired by the rare reference 5159BA.
  • The original reference, of which just 7 examples were made, is an asymmetrical masterpiece celebrating the lines of brutalism: this new version perfectly recaptures its spirit.
  • The new model goes with the times by increasing the dimensions of the case, which is made from AP’s new sand gold alloy, and adding a deeply sun-brushed blue dial instead of the more minimalist dial of the original.
