EVENT: Exploring the Bell & Ross 2016 collection in Sydney

Ceri David

Time+Tide attended an exclusive dinner on Thursday night courtesy of Bell & Ross, whose team was in town to give us a hands-on look at the brand’s Baselworld 2016 Collection, at the Salon Privé in the O Bar & Dining Room, high above Sydney. The view was breathtaking, up there on the 47th floor of Australia Square, not least because the revolving restaurant takes in iconic sights such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Still, it was hard to know how best to divide our time between the aspect outside the room and what was on display within, which included the the latest concept-car-inspired AeroGT watches, the surprisingly feminine BRS Diamond Eagle, the new blue and gold Aeronavale addition to the vintage line and the tacti-cool Desert Type.

Hosted by Jean-Christophe Chevrier from Bell & Ross HQ in Paris and Graeme Goldman, founder of Lion Brands, the soiree showed off the latest releases to great effect – the dark, moody venue matching the masculine energy of the brand perfectly. Thanks to Bell & Ross for a lovely evening and we wish JC bon voyage back to France.
