Introducing our first-ever merch drop, celebrating the Studio Underd0g x Time+Tide Hand Delivered
Jamie WeissUnlike many magazines or blogs, we’ve always been reluctant to go too far down the merch path at Time+Tide. Plenty of media companies rush to slap their logos on t-shirts as soon as they get a sniff of an audience – power to them, but we’ve always been insistent that any merch we release has got to 1) be something people actually want to wear and 2) something with a proper story behind it.
The release of the Studio Underd0g x Time+Tide Hand Delivered is one hell of a story. Initially conceived as a prank by Studio Underd0g founder Richard Benc and our very own Andrew McUtchen, we’ve made this cheeky watch a reality in 2024 to celebrate our 10th anniversary – and to celebrate its release, we’ve come up with a limited merch drop that’s almost as tasty as a pepper0ni pizza.
Just as there are two flavours of the Hand Delivered, this merch capsule collection encompasses two options: a hoodie and a t-shirt. Both feature a common design and a cream-and-red colour scheme inspired by the colour of the Hand Delivered’s tachymeter scale.
The front of the merch boasts a subtle Studio Underd0g x Time+Tide graphic, while the back is emblazoned with an Ikea instruction manual-esque graphic showing how the Hand Delivered is ‘assembled’. Richard’s always had a knack for iconography: this pizza graphic is minimalist, stylish and cheeky all at once.
The hoodie features a relaxed, oversized fit with dropped shoulders and generous elasticated cuffs, as well as heavy-weight 400 GSM fleece – perfect for keeping you warm in Melbourne (or London)’s famously unpredictable weather.
The t-shirt features a regular fit with a crew neck and is the perfect everyday wearer (or should we say GADA?) If you attended our ‘Pizza Party’ last Friday, you probably saw me and other members of the team wearing this tee. Can confirm, it’s very comfy.
