If variety is the spice of life, Chopard broke out the chilli sauce for Watches & Wonders 2022.  Their large range of releases covered a variety of genres while maintaining that upper-class character we expect from the famed Swiss watchmaker. Whether it was a complicated addition to a collection, a brand-new take on a retro aesthetic, or even a completely new approach to a well-established technology, Chopard were here to impress.

The Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon is the most recognisable one of the lot, featuring the L.U.C. 96.24-L movement that proudly displays a flying tourbillon on the front of the sunburst dial and an ornate micro-rotor on the back. The 8mm thickness is even more impressive, giving the retro-futuristic look a slender feel on-wrist.

The L.U.C. XPS 1860 Officer shows exactly what Chopard can do when playing with antique styling cues, and the staggering “Sound of Eternity” trio of chiming releases redefines the minute repeater with a bold expression of both acoustic and visual design.
