There are persistent rumours in the watch industry that Montblanc CEO (we almost wrote ‘new’ Montblanc CEO there, but it’s been three years believe it or not!) Jérôme Lambert is a pretty exceptional business leader when it comes to knowing his product. As in, he knows it very, very well. There’s only one way to prove or disprove this kind of theory. And that’s by putting it to the test. We came up with the idea to conceal a range of Montblanc watches and have Jérôme identify them with the use of only one sense. Touch. Better yet, to do it all on the public record, on video.  There was obviously a flaw in our idea though. What CEO would subject themselves to this kind of scrutiny? This level of potential embarrassment? It turns out, this CEO. Jérôme was not only up for the examination. He was excited.

With extra special credit to Montblanc Australia for risking being laughed out of the room when they pitched the idea on our behalf, thank you Leon, Randall and Dionne.
