We launched our Tudor Library & Lounge in London + the Time+Tide Ghost Kitchen in NYC is opening up shop
Jamie WeissThis has been a particularly big week for us here at Time+Tide. On Tuesday, we had the official launch of our Tudor x Time+Tide Library & Lounge, which, without any overstatement, is the biggest moment in Time+Tide’s retail journey yet. Tudor is a brand that the entire T+T team really loves and recommends – I don’t know for certain, but I’d be pretty positive that every single one of us is an owner, too (I’m wearing my Black Bay Pro as I type this!) We will always be a place for collectors to discover the hottest and hardest-to-get independent and microbrands, but collaborating with such an enthusiast-adored big-box brand like Tudor is another level.
Russell shared a great wrap-up of the event earlier this week, which I encourage you to read: needless to say, the London studio was packed to the rafters with Tudor lovers, with this launch event being just a taste of things to come as our Tudor experiment continues into 2026. As Andrew put it, “It was a Tudor Town Hall… A room full of people who have ideas and messages and feelings to communicate to each other and Tudor and Time+Tide about what they like, about what they hope is coming in the future collections and what they want from the next four months of the Library & Lounge. We have every intention to make this pop-up something that is remembered forever as a peak moment for Tudor in the UK.”
Hungry for watches? The Time+Tide Ghost Kitchen is now taking orders

In the lead-up to the opening of our first Time+Tide Watch Discovery Studio in the USA (New York, New York, baby), we’re going to start serving. We can’t wait. And we know you can’t either. And hey, we don’t need to open ALL our doors to offer access to some of the hardest-to-get watches in the world. We just need to open one. The delivery door.
Starting from tomorrow, many of the brands we exclusively stock in our Studio, including Serica and Studio Underd0g, will be available for Click and Collect from our SoHo location. More watches will be added as the weeks ahead pass, and we get closer to the grand opening. We’re leading with a great watch tomorrow that’s never been available online, so don’t ghost us in return, ok? See you tomorrow. Save up your appetite…
The Trump Rolex desk clock saga continues: Swiss authorities want to investigate gifts
View this post on Instagram
Earlier this year, after a meeting between US President Donald Trump and a group of Swiss luxury executives (including Rolex CEO Jean-Frederic Dufour), many watch enthusiasts noted that a gold Rolex clock had mysteriously appeared on the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, which was widely seen as a not-so-subtle inducement to reduce the whopping 39% traffic on Swiss watches.
Recent photographs and video footage from the Oval Office show that the Rolex clock, reportedly worth over CHF 25,000, is no longer sitting on Trump’s desk – nevertheless, Swiss politicians have urged their country’s top prosecutor to open a criminal investigation into this Rolex clock (and other gifts given by these Swiss business leaders) as they could be “tantamount to bribery of foreign officials”, Swissinfo.ch reports.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Who needs to see my face when they can see my watch’s face?
Wrist shot of the week: Franck flex
I caught up with Franck Muller CEO Nicholas Rudaz yesterday for the second time this year: Nicholas was in town in August for the opening of Franck Muller’s new Sydney boutique (we caught up for a long chat then, too – watch our interview here), but it seems he can’t keep away from the Harbour City! I managed to snap this shot of his impressive double-wrist combo: a Curvex CX Grand Central Tourbillon and a Crazy Hours with pavé diamonds.
Time+Tide Shop pick of the week: echo/neutra Rivanera Piccolo
Italy’s echo/neutra has returned with a new iteration of its smash-hit rectangular Rivanera, the Piccolo, showcasing new dial finishes and an entirely new, more petite case. Three dial variations are available: two are textured guilloché “Grain De Riz” white and black dials, and the third features an ultra-black, light-absorbing Musou Black finish.
Crafted from grade 5 titanium, the new angular case is 7mm shorter and 1mm narrower, giving the Piccolo a completely refreshed look. It’s also made the switch from a manual-winding ETA/Peseux 7001 movement to a Sellita SW1000 automatic. Read Tom’s full write-up here.
The echo/neutra Rivanera Piccolo is available to pre-order via the Time & Tide Shop. Price: A$3,825
Accessory of the month: BezelHold The Elite Watch Roll – Navy

Travel demands compromise, but your watch protection shouldn’t be one of them. The Elite in Navy from premium watch accessories brand BezelHold combines premium tanned leather with ultra-soft velvet microfibre interior, featuring the brand’s clever M-shaped compressible pillows that accommodate everything from slim dress watches to chunky divers. The genius lies in those pillows: you can fasten your bracelet or strap in hand, then slip the cushion through, which is particularly useful for watches with safety clasps.
The removable single watch pod includes an integrated ring holder (an upgrade from previous models), extending the roll’s utility beyond simple watch storage. German-made Prym buttons in chrome finish provide secure fastening without the bulk of zippers or straps. The navy colourway works across contexts, from boardroom to beach house, while the semi shock-resistant structure adds peace of mind for those weekend drives or international flights where luggage takes a beating.
BezelHold’s The Elite Watch Roll in Navy is available from the Time+Tide Shop UK. Price: £360

Vacheron Constantin rounds off its 270th anniversary year with some seriously classy Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thins
One of Vacheron Constantin’s great skills is creating complicated, highly refined timepieces that you could still feasibly wear every day. Enter the Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, which Vacheron Constantin has debuted in three new unisex executions to round off what’s been an absolutely stacked year of new watches in 2025, as the brand has celebrated its 270th anniversary… And while these might not be the flashiest watches VC has released this year, they might prove to be some of the best. Read Jamie’s full hands-on review here.
Baltic shows that the stone dial trend is not over, adding a quartet of exotic new dials to the Prismic collection
Baltic got in on the stone dial craze early when it celebrated its three worldwide showrooms with three location-exclusive, limited-edition takes on its Prismic cocktail watch, and now, Baltic has continued this stone dial tradition with the opening of its first boutique in Paris. Pietro had the chance to get hands-on with these four new stone dial Prismics ahead of launch – read what he thought about them here.
