Time+Tide is the only place in Australia you can buy Doxa, and we couldn’t be happier about it
Andrew McUtchenAs of 18:00 today, the Time+Tide Shop is the only place in Australia and New Zealand that you can buy Doxa watches. It will come as news to very few of you that this is one heck of a legendary brand. First helium valve on a general public diver’s watch – legendary. Jacques Cousteau – legendary. Owning orange – legendary. We are mildly freaking and geeking out to introduce so much more of Doxa to you, in all of its historical, colourful and, orange-drenched glory.
We are offering a full range of Doxa watches, including the GPHG-nominated SUB 200 range that starts at A$1,750 on rubber. Other classic models in the line-up include the SUB 300T, a reinterpretation of the SUB 300T Conquistador released in 1969, which was the first general public diver’s watch equipped with a helium release valve. Several of the collections are available for the first time in a range of fresh and clean dial variations to extend on the pulsing orange that the brand is known for. Your summer just got markedly fresher, we can promise you.
It is no secret that Doxa is on the march in 2024. Our desire to bring the brand to Australia fits in nicely with bold moves from the brand to consolidate their presence in the English-speaking universe – new distributors have also been announced in the US and the UK. This comes off the back of being recognised in the 2019 GPHG, where the SUB 200 has been nominated in the sub- CHF 4,000 Challenge category, coming way, way, under that limit. The value proposition is as strong with this one. An adventure that began 130 years ago is now in Australia, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Make sure you browse the entire range in the Time+Tide Shop, and check out our coverage of Doxa’s latest and greatest, like the SUB 300T Sharkhunter Clive Cussler, and the affordable 200T that doesn’t compromise on the signature look.
A small caveat for our international readers: we are only able to ship to Australian and New Zealand addresses due to our agreement with Doxa.
