The press is talking about our move to NYC
Russell SheldrakeBack in January, we announced to the world that we were planning to raise money and open our third Discovery Studio in New York. And now, we are over the moon to announce that we are making those plans a reality. We secured the funding, signed the lease, and now the wheels (or maybe gear train) are in motion for us to open our doors on Broome St, SoHo. And to add on top of this excitement, we have had our friends in the media talking about the news as well.
Frank Geelen, Founder of Monochrome, conducted a long interview with our very own Founder, Andrew McUtchen, that spanned from the origins of Time+Tide 11 years ago, going through the first iterations of the Discovery Studio concept, taking in the official launch in Melbourne back in August of 2023, and then opening in London at the end of October 2024, to finally getting to our grand plans for the Big Apple. If you want to know more about our origin story and get a fairly comprehensive narrative of our journey since then, this interview is as good a place as any. You can find it over on the Monochrome website here and Frank and Andrew get on to who we are looking to hire to staff this newest venture.
True to form, WatchPro were the quickest to jump on this news, as they published an article announcing our upcoming move mere moments after we went public ourselves. Rob Corder has followed our retail progress from the first day we intimated about opening in London and given WatchPro’s global reach and ambitions, there’s no doubt they will be tracking us across the pond too.
Our New York Discovery Studio is set to open later this year in November, so watch this space for more announcements as we will be revealing the brand line-up, opening events and even more exciting tidbits that are sure to come out of the city that never sleeps.
