“The title alone had me. Also, Felix pretending to know cars is always funny. But seriously, I absolutely love this watch. I’m a sucker for a blue dial, which the photographer, Jason Reekie, captured beautifully here. And regardless of all that, this is my favourite of IWC’s Big Pilot offering.”

“Knowing a couple of the guys at the RSC, it’s cool to get an inside look because the place is a little bit secretive, and most people know very little about it. But ask any reputable vintage dealer and they’ll tell you that Melbourne has one of the best RSCs in the world, and is often trusted with Milsubs and Paul Newman Daytonas – so it’s cool to learn more about what goes on there.”

“This was classic Tudor, saving the best till the eleventh hour, with their outside-of-Basel release. For about 12 hours this caused mayhem in the watch world, and then we got to see it – and it’s incredible. This is definitely my favourite release from Tudor this year, and the video does a great job of capturing this piece, which is 10 times better in the metal.”
