This heritage charmer hits all the spots
If you’re a heritage fan or someone looking for a great value mechanical watch then do we have the one for you…
Tissot is a brand that dates way back to 1853, a depth of history that’s reflected in the strength of their current heritage models. The latest member, the Tissot Heritage Petite Seconde, is a hand-winding hero based on a 1943 design, which is entirely suited for the modern day.
The case is refined and dressy, with curves that give it a warm pebble-like feel. The silver dial, with light vertical brush, and clear black fonts give just enough negative space to get lost in it. Complete with the legendary manually wound ETA 6498-1 workhorse movement, originally born in 1950, and seen in brands from Panerai to Omega, the movement complements the heritage feel of the watch.
The watch comes complete with 20mm vintage-look calf skin leather strap and a solid double-fold deployant clasp.
