Meet our new Social Media Manager and the gold Rolex Yacht-Master that ignited his love for watches

Jeremy’s passion for watches started over 25 years ago and was fuelled by the love his parents had for them – especially his father. Growing up, he always admired seeing his parents wear their watches so proudly. They used to wear many matching pieces that included everything from the Rado DiaStar to the Panthere De Cartier.

But the watch that truly fired Jeremy’s interest was the 1992 gold Rolex Yacht-Master that his father wore. It wasn’t just because it was a Rolex or that it was a gold watch. To Jeremy, it was simply a watch that his father wore that symbolised his parents’ hard work. Over time and after earning their trust, his father eventually gifted it to him and you can still find Jeremy wearing this special piece with pride.

Jeremy’s first connection with Time+Tide was when he was on the journey to owning his first Panerai. His research led him to Andrew McUtchen’s YouTube video comparing two different models and helping him narrow down his top choice to the Luminor Marina. A few years later, Jeremy now owns a Panerai, which inspired him to create his Instagram page dedicated to watches, the watch fam community, and his horological experiences. Being part of this community helped Jeremy build strong connections with Ricardo Sime and Zach Blass that finally led him to now being part of the Time+Tide team. Now that’s coming full circle!
