“Mean Tweets” Time+Tide Edition: Reacting to our most savage comments
Zach BlassIt’s the day before Christmas, and Santa is almost here. It’s the holiday time, a moment to spread joy and cheer. On our Time+Tide channels, more often than not, you all share something nice to say. But sometimes you can be naughty, and that’s what we are tackling today…
This is the first-ever Time+Tide “Mean Tweets” and savage comments segment. Comments you have shared about us, about our limited editions – and you really let us have it. Whether criticisms about our fashion sense (such as wearing a hoodie under a sports jacket), presentation style, and product preferences, or remarks about our physical looks, pronunciation difficulties (ON-genieur versus IN-genieur), and editing styles (to shaky cam or not to shaky cam? that is the question). And when it came to our limited editions, there were certainly comments around the designs of the watches and pricing strategies. Comments about quartz vs. mechanical movements and the value proposition of certain limited editions. The perception of some releases as “cash grabs” versus genuine collector’s items. We react to it all.
Jokes aside, naughty or nice, we’re just thrilled to have you all tuning in, watching our videos, and engaging and leaving us comments. Above all else, we value the Time+Tide community, its enthusiasm, and its passion. Your engagement, supportive or savage, is why we, all of us here at Time+Tide, do what we do.
Did you like this segment? Should we do it again next year? Let us know in the comments. Thank you for watching, from all of us here at Time+Tide. To all of you, even those who left us with savage comments, we hope you have a happy holiday and a happy new year. If you felt Time+Tide had an excellent year of video, don’t you worry… As always, we plan on next year being even bigger and better.
