If you happen to find yourself in Las Vegas and find yourself with an attractive young woman with a lion tattoo on her thigh, keep a close eye on your watch. That’s the early take-home from a case that will go before a Sin City court next month in which two men had luxury watches stolen after taking a woman back to their Vegas Strip hotel rooms in what police believe to be prostitution-related thefts.

Windy Rose Jones was arrested and charged her with two counts of felony grand larceny for the alleged robberies

Windy Rose Jones, 23, is accused of targeting her victims at the Cosmopolitan Hotel on two separate nights in February and March.

In the first case, police were called to the hotel by a man reporting he was “the victim of a grand larceny and possibly being drugged”, police wrote in an arrest report for Jones.

The man told police he met a woman named “Rosa” at a bar at the Cosmopolitan, before the pair retired to his room to drink margaritas. “While he and Rosa were in the room waiting on the room service (he) claims that the topic of sex was never on the agenda or part of the conversation,” police wrote in their report.

The man said “he does not remember much of the night due to falling asleep shortly after finishing his margarita,” police said. The man also suggested to police “Rosa may have drugged him.”

The man awoke the next morning to find his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch worth $37,000 had been stolen along with $1500 from his wallet. When quizzed by the police about the woman’s identifiable features, the man cited a lion tattoo on her thigh.

In the second case, another man told police that in March he met a woman on the casino floor at The Cosmopolitan. After the pair got chatting, he invited her to his room and ordered room service. At some stage, he also noticed the woman had a large lion or tiger tattooed on her leg.

The man awoke to find his Rolex Daytona watch worth $45,000 and his iPhone 12 stolen. He also told police he may have been drugged.

During their investigation, police tracked Jones down after they examined “multiple photos of Jones from multiple prostitution-related ads on the internet.”

“The photos showed Jones with a large lion tattoo on her upper leg,” police wrote.

Jones is scheduled to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court in both cases in May.
