James McVey and Andrew each share 3 watches they like to travel with
Time+TideIn this engaging conversation between Time+Tide founder Andrew McUtchen and celebrated musician James McVey (The Vamps), the focus is on three watches they each like to travel with – specifically selecting timepieces suitable for various travel scenarios. The discussion starts with the challenges of wearing luxury watches like Rolex in today’s world, where theft and safety are concerns in many travel destinations. They then go back and forth, sharing their wristwatch selections, their personal experiences travelling with the watches, and why these pieces are good watches to travel with.
Andrew, fresh off of a holiday break in his native Australia, had a very easy time selecting his three travel watches as he, perhaps lazily, decided to showcase the watches he had just taken on vacation. On the other hand, James showcases his selections through the distinct lens of a touring musician and the various scenarios he finds himself in. You will have to watch the video to see their choices, but you can expect some dive watches like a Serica 5303 and more dressy pieces like a Zenith Triple Calendar Moonphase. Watch the video above and be sure to leave your feedback in the comments, voting for whose three-watch travel collection is the strongest.
