New releases from IWC, Rado, Hublot and more

Most brands’ releases were on standby like everyone but with the new year underway, they’ve started back up again. Quite a few Year of the Snake special editions are starting to appear and we have brands delivering what they do best like Panerai and Rado. IWC Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team
- IWC announces another collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, this time collaborating on a time-only model.
- Like the previous Mercedes-AMG edition, this is a team watch, so it’ll be worn by Mercedes staff during the 2025 F1 season.
- This 40mm titanium Mark XX model has team sponsor Petronas’ signature turquoise both on the dial prints and on the strap.

Rado Anatom
- Rado relaunches the Anatom collection with five different new models featuring high-polish ceramic bracelets.
- Compared to the previous edition with a rubber strap, the design is more cohesive.
- Other than the two black and one plasma-coloured model, there are also two Rado Jubilé variants, in black ceramic and diamonds.
- Price: US$4,550.

Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake
- Hublot celebrates the Chinese Zodiac with an 88-piece limited edition Spirit of Big Bang, with the Swiss brand looking like it’s mastered the dark arts.
- The tridimensional snake coils around the counters and really contrasts both the black ceramic case and the skeletonized dial.
- The black rubber strap is embossed with a snakeskin texture which can also be found engraved on the watch’s bezel.

Panerai Luminor Tre Giorni
- Panerai goes back in time and draws from its origins with the new Luminor Tre Giorni.
- The 47mm stainless steel and manual wind is a reminder of the watches Panerai once created for Italian commandos.
- During their underwater missions, legibility was essential, hence the imposing size.
- Price: US$9,700.

Raymond Weil Millesime Burgundy
- Raymond Weil expands the Millesime collection with a burgundy Lunar New Year model in a 39mm case.
- This new model pays tribute to the Year of the Snake in the Chinese tradition.
- It is paired with a matching burgundy leather strap, and it’s limited to a lucky 88 pieces.
- Price: US$1,650.

Tissot Le Locle
- Tissot presents four new models to add to the Le Locle collection, both 39 and 29mm in diameter.
- Two of the four new models are enriched by an 18k rose gold bezel, hands and indices – giving off strong Rolex Datejust vibes.
- The other two models feature a forest green dial: all models share a Clous de Paris finish on their dials.

Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 41.5 Red Gold “Year of the Snake”
- Arnold & Son decorate the dial of their staple piece Perpetual Moon 41.5 to pay tribute to the Year of the Snake.
- The 18k gold hand-engraved snake wraps itself around a branch of a gingko tree.
- This limited edition of 8 pieces will be available in red alligator leather with a matching rose gold buckle.

Fears Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour ‘Edwardian Edition’
- Though it’s being announced now, Fears’ new Jump Hour Edwardian Edition will be sold exclusively at British Watchmakers’ Day on March 8, 2025.
- It’s limited to 10 pieces, with five reserved for each session of the day.
- This marks the second sterling silver-cased watch from Fears in 100 years, and notably has a diamond-set crown.

Toledano & Chan B/1.2
- Phil Toledano and Alfred Chan have released the highly-anticipated second chapter of their collaboration.
- An evolution of their original B/1 model, it brings a faceted, wedged sapphire and an emotional black mother-of-pearl dial to the fore.
- Limited to 200 pieces, it maintains the brutalism that made its design great in the first place.
- Price: US$5,700.

Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition
- Following on from the Kermit Edition released in 2023, the Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition matches the Muppet’s chic style.
- In a 34mm size, this is the smallest ProPilot X yet, but it keeps its 100-metre water resistance.
- Miss Piggy’s face is visible from a small window in the stainless steel caseback rather than appearing through a date window.

PS Horology Tsuba
- Peter Speake launches his second foray into high-end independent watchmaking with the Tsuba, a Japanese-Vietnamese-inspired piece.
- With a complex, cushion case and integrated bracelet design, the Tsuba looks to wiggle into the niche pseudo-sports watch market.
- It’s powered by an ultra-thin Vaucher micro-rotor.
- Price: CHF 19,500 (~US$21,370).

DeMarco Chronograph
- DeMarco presents its chronograph collection in five different colourways: black, blue, white, green and pink.
- The two counters dial hides the Seiko VK64 mechaquartz movement which adds also the date at 6 o’clock.
- The 100m water resistance makes it a suitable candidate for a GADA watch.
- Price: US$499.
