HANDS-ON: The Titoni Seascoper range delivers classic dive watches with a clean-cut, modern look

Matt Pickering

When it comes to dive watches, to say there is a lot of competition is a huge understatement. With over a century of watchmaking experience, Titoni has put forward their latest entries into this heavily contested field with the Seascoper 300 and 600. The watches hone in on a definitive look that can be adapted into vastly different styles, while keeping the Titoni design language. We got hands on with three different models from the Seascoper catalogue and Zach runs through them in the video below so be sure to check it out,

Seascoper 600

The Seascoper 600 clocks in at a robust yet well-proportioned 42mm diameter with a 14.5mm thickness, and a 51mm lug-to-lug length. The profile of the case lends itself to being fairly slab-sided, and as such wears quite flat on the wrist. If your wrists are larger than average then this will be perfect for you, otherwise it may be a struggle to find a comfortable fit. The side of the case also features a flush-fit helium-escape valve, as necessitated by its mammoth 600m depth rating.

Daring to be extreme is the Seascoper 600 Carbon Tech, with a carbon fibre case and ceramic bezel featuring the marking painted in a rainbow gradient. The hands being greyed out fits the aesthetic of the case while further causing the rainbow bezel markings to pop.

Seascoper 300

The newest addition to the Seascoper family is available on a rubber strap with a deployant clasp or on bracelet. Like its 600m brother, the 300 has a 42mm case and a slightly slimmer height of 12.55mm. The 300 comes in a variety of dial colours and configurations.

The application of the hour markers creates a great sense of depth within the watch, and the date display at 3 o’clock is neatly integrated with a white wheel that acts as another marker. The hands impart the most character onto the dial, with bold angular designs held on skeletonised stalks and thick counterbalances.
