Every Watch Tells A Story: How Borna got lucky with his Universal Genève Polerouter

Time+Tide

It was the end of last year at the Time+Tide Club party. Drinks were poured and Santa hats were circulated. Watches were admired and discussed. There were further drinks. Impressed by the horological range on display, Andrew suddenly decided we should shoot some video of different people discussing their watches and unpacking the personal stories behind them. That’s what this little video series is all about.

One of the Club members we met that night was Borna, a university student who was double-wristing a Universal Geneve Polerouter and a Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight – the watches that he talks about in this video. It quickly became apparent that not was Borna was not only a nice guy, but that he also knew a lot about watches. One month later, Borna was working as a writer for Time+Tide.
