Every new Rolex introduced at Watches and Wonders 2025, including the brand-new Land-Dweller
Borna BošnjakIt’s finally that time of the year, when Rolex lifts the covers on its novelties for the upcoming year. Usually there’s quite a bit of repetition here, with just some dial swaps and a new material, but this year we’ve been treated to an entirely new collection – the Land-Dweller – taking cues from the Oysterquartz models of years past, with a brand-new, high-beat movement to boot. If it’s classic Rolex you’re after, fear not – we’ve got GMTs, Daytonas, and Sky-Dwellers aplenty. And we didn’t fare too badly when it came to our predictions, either…
Rolex Land-Dweller
- A slew of new Land-Dwellers will be joining Rolex’s newest collection, in 36mm and 40mm sizes, across three metals – white Rolesor, platinum, and Everose gold.
- There are two dial choices and bezel choices, the first with fluted bezels and Arabics at 6 and 9, or a gem-set variant with baguettes on both the bezel and dial.
- Other than the new look, the flat, integrated Jubilee bracelet and new 5Hz 7135 calibre with the Dynapulse escapement are the biggest novelties.
Rolex GMT-Master II
- Rolex introduces two new GMT-Master II variants, one in the lefty configuration with a new ceramic dial in white gold, and a delectable Everose gold model with a tiger iron dial.
- Both feature 40mm cases and Oyster-style bracelets.
- They’re powered by the 3285 true GMT calibre.
Rolex Daytona
- We finally get a Tiffany blue-dialled Daytona, with a shiny blue lacquer surface, though without the explicit connection to the famed jeweller.
- The yellow gold case and black highlights offer a very contrasting look.
- Mounted on an Oysterflex bracelet, the new Daytona is still powered by the 4131 movement updated in 2023.
Rolex Sky-Dweller
- The most complicated Rolex gets a classic brand colourway, with a stark green dial and yellow gold case.
- Paired with the Jubilee bracelet, the new Sky-Dweller is as blingy as it gets without any diamond-setting.
- Powered by the calibre 9002, the user can adjust the watch’s function via the bezel and crown, making a complicated movement easy to operate.
Rolex Perpetual 1908
- The Crown’s dressiest offering gets a delectable seven-link bracelet in yellow gold to match the 39mm case.
- Named the Settimo, it’s exclusively designed for the Perpetual 1908, sporting tiny rounded links and a hidden clasp.
- The Calibre 7140 is still visible via the display caseback, sporting Paraflex shock absorbers and a Syloxi hairspring.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual
- If you were missing colour from the Oyster Perpetual range, Rolex brings it back, kinda.
- Three pastel tones of purple, yellow, and green join the OP28, OP36, and OP41 ranges, respectively.
- While not as vibrant as the Stella-inspired models of years past, these will undoubtedly be in high demand once again.
Rolex Datejust 31
- And finally, the catalogue models of 2025 are wrapped up with a rich, red Datejust 31 on a President bracelet.
- The red smokey dial features diamond indices, matched by the gem-set bezel.
- It’s a classically stylish look for one of the most classic of Rolex models.
