Editor’s Note: For the first time last year Panerai released a watch with a California dial in a Luminor case, and a black titanium one to boot in the Panerai Luminor PAM 629. The result, as Jim Carrey would say, was smokin’!

Panerai-PAM-629The Panerai PAM 629 is one of the more hotly discussed releases of Watches & Wonders. It features the distinctive  ‘California dial’, with its recognisable mix of arabic and roman numerals.
