Every British Watchmakers’ Day 2025 special edition
Russell SheldrakeBritish Watchmakers’ Day is back! And we have 25 special edition watches that have been made specially for the second round of this sold-out event. Last year we saw over 1,300 people stream into Lindley Hall in London to discover the 44 brands on display, and buy their special editions. Now we are fast approaching the sequel to this memorable event which is taking place on March 8th.
You may have already seen others on the internet list their favourites, but they only give you a taste of what you can expect if you are one of the lucky ones to get a ticket. Instead, we want to give you a comprehensive overview of exactly what you can buy on the day, so you can know exactly which brand to rush to go and see once you get inside. And once you’ve secured your special edition, don’t forget to come and see us, as we will have a stand at this year’s show, with a tasty surprise in store…
Monro
First up we have an adventure-ready piece with the colours of the British flag worked in. The Monro MOA-BWD is actually being given away to one lucky winner at the show, so it really is a case of you’ve got to be in it to win it. MOA stands for Monro, Ocean, Adventure, and it lives up to that name with a 200-metre water resistance rating, a double domed sapphire crystal, and a choice between a three-link bracelet and fabric strap. Only one is being made, too, so it’s a proper piece unique. Price: free, gifted to door prize winner
Pompeak
The smokey red colour applied to the textured dial of this Pompeak Gentlemans Collection watch really draws you in. With its open heart aperture giving you a peak at its Miyota 82S5 movement, this watch has the lowest price point out of any being offered on the day but still packs plenty of character in. Only 15 are going to be made with this unique dial colour combination. Price: £341.10
Golby
Golby is a young brand that has always drawn inspiration from the beauty of Britain’s coasts and is operated by a husband and wife duo, so to hear this new collection launching with a limited run of 25 named the Coastal comes as no surprise to those who have followed the short journey of this Solihul-based brand. Price: £359
Geckota
Geckota has taken its best seller and given it this rich blue dial with two contrasting scales wrapping around it. The watch packs plenty of visibility thanks to the uniquely shaped hands and marker set being covered in lume. A great value proposition priced at just £399, the 50 pieces are sure to go quickly. Price: £399
Alkin
Alkin has worked subtle Union Jack colours into the design of this watch in a way that you wouldn’t notice until it’s pointed out to you. Carrying 200m of water resistance and super legible applied numbers this is a functional diver at a great price of just £425. With 40 pieces being produced, and all available to buy on the day. Price: £425
Beaucroft
Accessibility and art combined in this limited edition from Beaucroft as they team up with Bristol-based artist Penfold. Beaucroft has become known for the colourful dials in the Element range, this limited run of 75 pieces elevates the familiar design even further through its use of colour and shade in Penfold’s rather distinct style. And as always, Beaucorft has layers of value with this piece only costing £649. Price: £649
Clemence
A simple, yet handsome gilt-bronze dial, this watch from Clemence is assembled in Britain, and every piece sold plants a native tree in Scotland, with twice the carbon used to produce it being offset through other measures. Only 10 of these concept pieces will be available to purchase on the day at a price of £650. Price: £650
Omologato
This watch is incredibly tied up with the world of motorsport thanks to Omologato sponsoring 30 racing teams across 14 different countries making the Arnage 24h GMT the perfect companion for this international racing team. 10 exclusive editions of this Rouge London special will be available to buy on the day. Price: £750
Mr Jones
Ordered chaos, but for the first time with a Swiss movement. The Khaosify from Mr Jones has been a fan favourite thanks to the chaotic yet somehow logical design which is read from the white elements on the dial, just don’t try and read it at a glance, don’t come in expecting a super clear tool watch here, it’s all about the art, but now with a Selitta SW200 inside. Only 10 are being made, so you may have to get in early doors to get your hands on this piece of art. Price: £750
Marloe
An onslaught of colour, this diver from Marloe has bright, cheerful tones in a limited run of 100 pieces. The celebratory colours of the Morar 310 have been selected to not only mark the second British Watchmakers’ Day, but also 10 years of the Marloe watch company. With 310m of water resistance, a helium escape valve and a ceramic bezel insert, this is a serious dive watch at an accessible price point. Price: £799
Farer
Perfectly pink, the Aurora from Farer has a wonderfully textured salmon dial with a clever application of lume on the hands and applied indices that make this limited edition of 10 pieces come to life after dark, just like its namesake. Farer has been known for its brave use of colours and this classical choice feels reassuringly safe for the British brand, offering a well known look for under £1,000. Price: £925
Duckworth Prsetex
This is tradition personified. Duckworth Prestex has taken the best parts of its 100 year legacy, and distilled them into this patriotic limited run of 25 pieces, with red and blue Roman numerals on a white dial that only features the word Prestex, the original name of brand. It’s like finding a Heuer before it became TAG Heuer. Price: £950
Elliot Brown
Delivering on colour like never before, Elliot Brown has leant into the spirit of British Watchmakers Day with the splashes of colour, and BWMD 2025 printed at the bottom of this tough GMT timer. A brand we’ve recently taken on in our Discovery Studio and has proven popular, the 10 pieces available of this will be hard to find. Price: £950
Fears x Studio Uunderd0g
Only £1,000! The combination of two of our favourite brands, The Gimlet from Fears and Studio Underd0g is the coming together of one of the oldest and youngest brands in Britain as the creativity of Underd0g and the elegance of Fears meet to make this cocktail-inspired watch with 200 pieces being made of this green-tinged dial. Price: £1,000
Pinion
Imagine mixing all the colours of the British flag, and you might get something close to this Neutron Violet colour from Pinion. At least that’s what they were aiming for. Electroplating this colour over a stamped guilloche pattern in the centre of the dial, this dial almost becomes hypnotic. Measuring 38mm, only 30 are being made and with a special discounted price on the day of £1,150, being at British Watchmakers’ Day will be the best time to get one. Price: £1,150
Bōken
Known for its tough timers, Bōken is releasing a new line of watches called the Breacher, with blocks of lume in a time-only and GMT version. Three individual watches will be customised by the amazing Dial Artist and auctioned off at British Watchmakers Day, starting at £1,300. Price: Silent auction starting at £1,300
Olivier Meylan
A sleek sports watch that carries dual citizenship. Being assembled in the UK, with a Swiss ETA calibre inside and a very traditional Swiss name on the dial, the Olivier Maylan PES Special Edition is a sleek sports watch measuring in at just 9.5mm of thickness. The brushed design with a tapered bracelet will mean this limited edition of just 5 pieces will likely go fast. Price: £1,395
Nomadic
If you are looking for a Pepsi GMT but with more UK, Nomadic might have the answer for you with this limited run Fior 555. Proud to be based in Belfast, the triple 5 stands for the coordinates of the Northern Irish capital. Inside you have a Selitta SW330 for its bright yellow GMT hand to be read from the ceramic Pepsi GMT bezel. With only 50 being made for the show. Price: £1,595
Apiar
A combination of additive manufacturing, generative design, and a lot of British brains go in to making this sculptural timepiece from Apiar. A fun design on the dial, with incredible twisted lugs make the grade 23 titanium Gen 1.0 an engineering standout. Five red dials will be made for the event and are expected to sell for less than £2,000. Price: <£2,000
Christopher Ward
Christopher Ward has shot for the moon in their Mission to Maidenhead Moonphase, adding a whimsical astronaut to the oversized moon of their aventurine-covered C1 model. Despite upping the numbers available from their special edition last year from 10 to 25 I fear these will still be hard to get on the day. Price: £2,395
Sidereus
We finally have some British racing green, and it is being used by Sidereus, a proudly Irish brand that makes use of this Shamrock shade on this wonderfully simple three-hander made in just a limited run of five pieces and costing £2,760. The distinctive colour was chosen to celebrate the historic link between British Racing Green and Ireland, as it was on the Emerald Isle that the colour was used for the first time in motorsport. Price: £2,760
Vertex
Vertex has brought a slice of the Sicilian coastline to British Watchmakers’ Day with the M60 Taormina, which is where Vertex CEO, Don Cochrane first learnt to free dive as a child. A limited release from its AquaLion professional diving line pays homage to the legendary free diving location with its deep blue dial and 600 metres of water resistance. Only 50 are being produced with three straps available with each one. Price: £2,950
Schofield
This watch is really old, or at least it’s been made to look that way. Schofield has always been known for its creativity, and has now teamed up with artist Ben Guffee to age the bronze cases of the new B6 models that they will have on offer during the show. With three different models available, a Deep Blue, Shallow Green and Sea-Change, all bringing slightly different nautical themes to the table. The only problem is we only have images of the caseback right now, so you’ll need a ticket for the show to see the dials. Price: £4,495
Isotope
Aristry and creativity at their peaks are shown off in these two limited pieces from Isotope. The brand is known for its modern approaches to time telling, and now they have taken on the traditional crafts of marquetry and cloisonne enamel for the Union Jack depictions. With five of each being made, it will cost you £4,700 and £4,900 to take one of them home. Price: £4,700 + VAT, £4,900 + VAT
Fears
Beauty in simplicity, the Fears Edwardian Jump Hour does away with so much, to allow the excellently designed typography and layout to shine on this crisp white dial. And the jump hour has a rather satisfying click when it ticks over that can be heard through the sterling silver case when you’re in a quite room. This piece takes the crown as the most expensive watch available at British Watchmakers’ Day, costing £5,450 with only 10 being made. Price: £5,450
