New releases from Anoma, Ming, Casio G-Shock and more
Pietro PillaSome of the brightest creatives of the industry chose this week to release their purest creations (yet). We’re talking about Matteo Violet-Vianello from Anoma with a monochromatic version of the A1 featuring a new engraved dial and also about Ming Thein of Ming with a special limited edition in tantalum using vintage movements. Anoma A1 Slate
- Anoma follows up from its original A1 with a new dial colour in the A1 Slate.
- The new model will enter standard production and be open to pre-orders from March 10th.
- Marking the second step in the young brand’s life, the original A1 is no longer in production; this is the only model available.

Ming Project 21 Horological Omakase
- The Ming Project 21 Horological Omakase is the watch world’s ‘chef’s choice,’ with Ming Thein in complete creative control.
- R&D for the project was funded by 10 backers, originally at a 2023 dinner party for Ming collectors. After delivering their watches, 15 have been made for the public.
- This tantalum-cased watch is powered by a vintage F. Piguet 21 movement, first released in 1925 and the world’s thinnest calibre at the time, standing just 1.75mm tall.

Casio G-Shock GMAP2125W-6A “CasiOak” International Women’s Day
- Casio chose to use a compact CasiOak variant to celebrate International Women’s Day.
- The brand plays with soft purple, symbolizing justice and dignity, plus white and gold accents inspired by mimosas.
- This lavender model, like all its bigger, more masculine siblings, features a shock-resistant structure and 200-meter water resistance rating.

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF 36mm Automatic Stone Blue
- Parmigiani Fleurier follows up its fully platinum Stone Blue Tonda PF with a smaller steel model with a platinum bezel and more traditional dial.
- This Stone Blue hue, previously seen on a finely grained dial, now goes back to the fine guilloche of the Grain d’Orge motif.
- It’s powered by the automatic caliber PF770, with 60 hours of power reserve, visible through the open caseback.
- Price: CHF 21,000.

Mido Commander 1959 Pixel
- Blending the Mido Commander 1959’s vintage style with modernity, this Pixel edition finds itself in a world of retro joy.
- The dial’s sporadic pixels explore a gradient of tones from blue to purple to pink, some of them luminous after dark.
- It’s powered by the Calibre 80 with its 80-hour power reserve, and the 37mm round case is versatile for any gender.

Breitling Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar
- For the first time, Breitling equips a non-limited edition Navitimer with one of its most technically ambitious movements – the Calibre B19.
- Housed underneath Breitling’s “Ice Blue” dial and displayed through a sapphire caseback, the B19 is the brand’s first in-house perpetual calendar movement.
- The new release combines a 43mm stainless steel case with a platinum bezel and mushroom pushers, bringing a contemporary twist to the aviator’s classic.

Tissot PRC100 Solar
- Tissot announces a completely new collection with a solar powered, GADA analog watch.
- It’s available in three different dial configurations: black with matching black case, blue or silver with a silver toned case.
- Its stainless steel case measures 39mm at just 9.22mm and it’s water-resistant to 100m.
- Price: US$495.

AnOrdain Model 2 Porcelain Large
- Inspired by their trip to Limoges, AnOrdain’s artisans have created a clay-based, glazed dial for the Model 2.
- They’re aiming to produce around 30 dials per month, at the moment only available in the 39.5mm Model 2, with the smaller 36mm coming later in 2025.
- It’s finally powered by a La Joux-Perret G101, but it stays hidden behind a closed caseback.
- Price: £1,800.

Christopher Ward C60 Sapphire Edge
- Christopher Ward slims the C60 Sapphire down by 2.5mm and swaps movements for a more ergonomic fit on the wrist.
- This release marks the first time the brand uses a luminous rubber band.
- The watch shares characteristics with the sustainable C60 #tide with a blue-tinted sapphire dial, exposing the date wheel through its surface.

Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech BOC IV
- Blancpain iterates on the Tech Gombessa from 2023 with the smaller, more daily-wearable Tech BOC IV.
- Boasting a lugless 45mm case made from grade 23 titanium, it features an “Absolute Black” dial which absorbs 97% of visible light, topped with block lume indices.
- It is limited to 100 pieces, €1,000 from the proceeds of each sale will be donated to the Sulubaaï Marine Research Center in the Philippines as part of Blancpain’s long-running Ocean Commitment.

King Seiko VANAC
- Seiko launches a new flagship King Seiko model in the VANAC, with five colourways to choose from.
- The 41mm watch is inspired by the original Vanac series from the 1970s, though with a modern edge.
- The VANAC gets an 8L-series movement, which means Grand Seiko roots, with three days of power reserve.
- Price: A$5,200.

Brooklands Watch Co. Golden Miller Racing Chronograph
- Brooklands announces a limited edition watch together with the Jockey Club, in the occasion of the Cheltenham Festival.
- The stainless steel case is set with seven sapphires either side in blue and yellow, Dorothy Paget racing colours.
- Each buckle is crafted from an alloy containing the material from an original racing shoe worn by the legendary racehorse.

- Singaporean microbrand RZE, known for its tough, outdoorsy watches, introduces its first digital timepiece.
- The UTD-8000 shares a similarly robust, angular and titanium case to its mechanical watches, with a distinctly retro-futuristic flair.
- It utilises a custom digital module that’s guaranteed for life.

Second Hour Mandala Mk3
- Australian microbrand Second Hour presents the third iteration of its dress/sports watch.
- The surface treatment of its 40mm stainless steel case has been upgraded, boosting hardness from the V2’s 800 Vickers to 1200 Vickers.
- There are now seven different colours available, stamped with a captivating guilloché pattern.
