VIDEO: The Great Escape – The Artist’s Cut

Let’s get one thing straight. Vincent Fantauzzo, wheelie-popping portrait artist and all-round action man liked our version of the big day out we ended up calling The Great Escape.

But that said, Vince had a bird’s eye view of the day that looked a little different to ours. In the days after, he texted and called me. “I think I want to do a video, too,” he said. Dan from Spilt Milk (the director of the shoot) and I looked at each other, shrugged and nodded. One of Australia’s most talented artists wants to do his cut from the raw footage? Awesome. Go to it, Vincent.

So, this is the result – we’re calling it, ‘The Artist’s Cut’ – because that’s what it is. Same day, same Fastrider ticking on his wrist, same Ducati Scrambler power-sliding around dirt road corners, but from a creative, high-energy perspective that turns up the volume and, to use an Australianism, lets rip.

The other thing we like about Vincent’s version is that you get a better sense of the wild talent that this guy is, in Australia for now, and we’re pretty sure, the world at large in years to come. To see more absolutely amazing art, check out his site. But for now, buckle up.
